Train Your Romo for the Robot Space Race
Romo is an educational and reference program developed by Navideck Labs OU for iPhone. It is a full version app that allows users to train their Romo robot for the Robot Space Race, a competition among the best robots in the universe. Paired with a rover base, users can train their Romo to master its wheels and explore its environment.
The training journey begins with teaching Romo the basics of maneuvering its wheels. Once the fundamentals are mastered, users can train Romo to react to its surroundings, such as recognizing its favorite color. As the Robot Space Race approaches, endurance training comes into play, with Romo being taught to chase real-world objects like a ball or a shirt.
To complete the Space Race, users can build their own racetrack and guide Romo to zip around it. The app offers three planets of missions and three activity comets for training purposes. Additionally, users can control Romo and view the world through its eyes from another iPhone or iPad using Romo Control. The Lab feature allows users to utilize Romo's trained intelligence for endless possibilities.
Please note that this app requires the Romo accessory, which can be purchased online. It supports all iOS versions up to iOS 13 and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, SE, 7, 8, and iPod Touch 4, 5, 6. For video streaming devices, those with A9 CPU or newer are recommended. If using the app on iOS 6 or 7, it is advised to first purchase the app on a device with at least iOS 8 and then download the last compatible version on the older device.
Patrons of the app include Miraenda, Suschman, Matt Duston, and Jim Felich.
